Christine's Bridesmaid Brunch ~ June 1, 2012

The first weekend in June I was a bridesmaid in one of my best friends' wedding. Christine and I have known each other since elementary school, we grew up in the same neighborhood, rode the same bus and both us eventually ended up in Harrisonburg. I stayed, she left and moved to North Carolina. Anyhow, she was married at the Black Horse Inn, in Warrenton, VA and it was an awesome weekend. I was not her photographer since I was in the bridal party but I photographed many of the events leading up to the actual wedding. I am so happy for Christine and Van, they are so great together. It was so good to see all my old friends and I had a blast as usual hanging out with Christine's family.

Here are some photos of our awesome Bridesmaid brunch, which took place the day before the wedding. It was soooo delicious! Check out the spread we had over at the Armstrong's house. They cooked us up nothing short of a feast, with sausage, bacon, pancakes, egg scrambles, cinnamon rolls to name a few.... and as some of you know I absolutely love breakfast, (Welcome to Jaime's CAFE- old high school joke:) so it was a great start to a great weekend. And I will say we never went hungry.......or thirsty for that matter!

I loved that our names were in little frames on the table. So super cute! I should have mentioned earlier that Christine's wedding colors were jewel tones (sooo pretty!) mainly blues and purples. Here are some photos of the table settings...aren't they so cute!

Christine's Matron of Honor recently had a little baby girl, below is Christine with sweet baby Charleigh! (she has the cutest little cheeks...although you can't really see them in this photo)

The bride with her family!

All of the "maids" in Christine's wedding attended the brunch and Christine gave us all these beautiful necklaces by Vera Wang. They were little purple flowers and I must admit, I was super stoked when unwrapped my little gift and saw the pretty blue box. Christine also gave us these gorgeous pendant earrings that complimented our dresses for the wedding as well as the necklaces. Aren't they so pretty???? (see below;) I also decided that it would be a great idea to immediately put ALL my new jewels on....AND the ribbon for the gift appropriately ended up tied around my head. For some reason at that time, someone else had picked up my other camera.........

There will be more photos up soon of all of Christine's wedding festivities, on my website. I will keep everyone informed via Facebook or you can subscribe to the blog!! Have a great week!
